THE PTA (PARENT TEACHER ASSOCIATION):
The parents are at the heart of our school as the most vital influence and support in the
education of our children. All parents and staff are members of the PTA and some ex-
parents have extended their membership.
The PTA raises valuable funds through various activities and also provides an equally
important social function, especially in welcoming new parents and providing activities for
the children such as Fun Day, discos and parties.
The Committee organises the events throughout the year and reports to parents at the
annual general meeting during October. You are invited along to discuss the year’s
achievements and perhaps to volunteer your own services.
DRESS AND UNIFORM:
We feel that school uniform is important because it helps to establish a school identity.
We ask that it be worn by all the children and we are grateful for the co-operation of
parents in ensuring the good standards of dress.
BOYS:
Grey shorts or trousers
White or pale blue shirt or polo shirt
Grey or black socks
Royal blue pullover or Brunswick House sweatshirt
Black shoes not trainers
GIRLS:
Navy skirt or tunic
White or pale blue shirt or polo shirt
Royal blue cardigan, pullover or Brunswick House sweatshirt/cardigan
Navy blue, black or grey trousers
Black or navy tights or socks in winter, white socks in summer
Blue and white dress for summer
Smart tailored black, grey or navy shorts with no logos,
(no longer than knee length).
Black shoes which are flat and sensible
