I am pleased to write these few words of welcome on behalf of the staff, governors
and students of Marshfields School.
Starting a new school is always a daunting experience but you can be assured that we will do
everything we can to make the transition as easy as possible for the students.
This prospectus has been designed to help you find out about the School, its staff, governors and
students. I do hope you find it informative and that it gives you something of the ‘flavour’ of our

Marshfields is an establishment where high standards of teaching and learning, motivation, and behaviour are the expected
norm. This not only ensures a safe and happy environment, but also a willingness to achieve and enjoy oneself. These qualities
are those sought by further education and employers as your child leaves school.
Obviously no prospectus will convey everything you might want to know, so do feel free to ask questions, make comments, and
above all, come and see us and talk to the staff.
