cost of a hot lunch is £2.00 per day, lunch for the week is £10.00. Nursery dinners cost £1.65 per day,
lunch for the week is £8.25. Children in FS2 and KS1 are entitled to free school dinners. Any money sent via
school should be handed to your child‟s teacher in a sealed envelope with their name and learning group

Parents are asked to help during educational visits and in some school activities (parents will not be placed in
their own child‟s individual group). We believe that parents can bring valuable help, support and specific
expertise into school. Please let us know if you have any hidden talents which might be useful to us in school,
or if you can offer us some time on a regular or occasional basis as we are always grateful for offers of help.
Teachers will use their professional judgement in using parental help. We would also be grateful to any
parents who will be happy to be
DBS checked (formally CRB), please speak with Mrs Snarr or Miss Benson at
the school office.
During the year you will be invited to various special events including concerts, sports and some seasonal
events.
Teachers, given reasonable notice, are always available to discuss your child's progress or any problems or
concerns. Please do not hesitate to e mail or telephone school or contact a member of staff personally to
arrange an appointment should the need arise.
Parent consultations are held in the Autumn, Spring and Summer terms to enable both parents and staff to
meet and discuss the children. An interim report will be issued at both the Autumn and Spring consultations
and a full term report on each child‟s progress will be provided to parents in the Summer term. This will
contain targets for each child and will form the basis for discussion with your child‟s new teacher. We
encourage children in years 2 – 6 to attend the consultations with their parents.
We also hold occasional evenings to update parents on new initiatives in learning. Recent meetings have
focussed on Numeracy and Key Stage 2 STA tests. For their information, parents receive a newsletter each
term and a termly “e newsletter” is uploaded to our website which shows what the children having been doing
