Preparing Children for a Successful Future
At Clifton with Rawcliffe Primary School we take bullying very seriously. All staff do their utmost to ensure
that it does not happen but sadly instances do occur. We encourage children to let staff know immediately if
anyone is intimidating them either physically or verbally. If you have any concerns please contact school. An
anti-bullying policy is in place and strictly adhered to.
For the safety of all children would all drivers exercise care when parking on or near Eastholme
Drive.
You should not enter the school gates in your car, as the car park, due to size and safety is for Staff
Parking only.
For safety please enter and leave the school grounds via the footpath from Eastholme Drive / Park &
Stride rear entrance.
If any different collecting arrangements are made for children in FS & KS1, please notify the school
office as we do not allow unauthorised adults to take children home.
In response to wishes expressed by the majority of parents, the Governing Body stipulates that all pupils
attending the school should wear a uniform as follows:
The Governing Body reserves the right to request that items considered inappropriate by the Headteacher
are not worn at school unless agreed for a non-uniform day.
Sweatshirts / Polo Shirts with the school badge are available to order online, details are included in the
proforma section of this pack.
Pupils, in the interests of safety, are expected to wear dark coloured sensible and appropriate footwear
(preferably black). This may include plain open toed sandals during the summer term only, however, flip-flops
/ Crocs and all shoes that cannot be fastened around the back are not to be worn to school and please ensure
that socks are worn at all times. Training shoes are not permitted for everyday use but can of course be
worn during P.E. or at break time. Sportswear such as replica football shirts and tracksuit trousers are not
allowed for normal everyday use.
