Foxton Values and Aims

Values
We believe in the value of:
facilitating the development of the whole child:
intellectual, physical, spiritual, moral, social and cultural
meeting the needs of each child and cherishing
individuality
learning as an enjoyable and satisfying experience
the benefit derived from a close relationship between
school, home and the local community
life-long learning.
Aims
In order to sustain these values we aim to:
provide a broad, balanced curriculum within a caring and stimulating environment
teach children according to their individual needs and abilities, helping them to achieve high
standards in all they do
monitor and assess each child’s progress effectively and celebrate individual achievements
create opportunities to learn from one another and work with different age groups
maintain a positive home-school relationship
create a setting in which both adults and children are encouraged to learn.

From their first day at school, the children are taught the
meaning of the 4 Cs and reminded that we are
