Our Technology department, utilising a combination of
inspirational teaching and state of the art equipment, offers
each student the chance to explore projects in Textiles,
Graphics and Resistant Materials. Our Food Technology
department not only provides students with the basic food skills
for life, but also allows their creativity to take them to higher
skill levels including competitive cookery and participation in
our FutureChef Club.
So much can be achieved with a strong sense of commitment and at
Blenheim the success of our Physical Education and Dance department
highlights the dedication and commitment of our students. Through
persistence and determination students excel at all competitive levels,
working both individually and as part of a team to challenge themselves.
Our Drama department offers students of all skill levels the opportunity
to explore their talents and use them not only academically but also
in our very successful school productions. Drama allows students to
think creatively and expand their imagination whilst developing their
communication skills and self-esteem.
The vibrant and purposeful atmosphere in the specialist Art andDesign
area gives a clue to the energy and commitment students show
when working in this subject. The annual Art Exhibition routinely
showcases work of an extremely high quality. Similarly, whether
in the recording studio, practice rooms, music classrooms, or on
the stage, students work hard to master new musical skills, with
many performing at one of our regular recitals.
