The BRIT School
and the Community
The BRIT School works with community partners to reach out and engage with people
in Croydon and surrounding boroughs. Every year the students work with different
groups aiming to show how the role of the arts can make life better.
“Working with the local community has always been important to The BRIT School.
We've had 25 years of running workshops and performances for all ages and
community groups. From homes for the elderly to local nursery schools and from pupil
referral units to Alzheimer's centres, the school really believes in creating relationships
and sharing the skills and talents of our students with others. A creative and sharing
community is a happy community. That's what The BRIT school wants to be part of and
contribute to what's good about Croydon.”
