Discovery
An important occasion in the
school year is Curriculum
Enrichment Week in which
students in Years 7 to 9 take part
in a series of activities designed to
enrich and extend their learning.
Recently during this week
students experienced these
opportunities:

Residential visits to Spain,
France, Germany and the
Pennines Ski trips
•
Visits to the Globe Theatre,
Tower of London, IMAX
Theatre, Dover Castle, Duxford
Air Museum
•
Caving, Canoeing, Abseiling
•
Building model airplanes,
rockets and robotic dinosaurs
•
Spending a day in Medieval
times
•
World Music Day
As a school we encourage
students to discover opportunities
that take them beyond the
everyday school curriculum.
We believe that such experiences
can be inspirational. They enrich
learning and give our students
memories that will stay with them
for the rest of their lives.
