04 PROUD @ CCHS We teach our students to be PROUD of what they do and what they achieve. Through a series of PROUD pledges which complement our broad and balanced curriculum, students develop a portfolio of achievements to encourage them to look beyond school and to exceed their own personal expectations. Our PROUD initiative supports our ethos of ‘Higher Expectations, Raising Aspirations’. Being a CCHS student is more than just about academic results, it is about having compassion and empathy for others, developing an understanding of the importance of community; local, national and global, and encouraging a ‘can-do’ attitude to any problems or challenges. Our core PROUD values and ideals were developed and shaped by our students; Perseverance, Responsibility, Opportunity, Unity and Diversity.
