We believe in setting high standards of behaviour and have high expectations of all of our students. We combine traditional values of respect towards all members of the community with innovative approaches to teaching and learning. Young people are encouraged and supported to take responsibility for their own learning, in and out of lessons. Prospect is a great place to discover your talents no matter what they may be. We welcome students of all abilities and celebrate the diversity of cultures, backgrounds and talents which students, parents and staff bring to our school. Students achieve their very best when the school and home work in partnership to share the same ambitions and the same expectations. We fully appreciate that raising a child can be tough at times and sometimes educating a child can be too. This is why we work hard with parents to encourage every child in our school to aspire to fulfil their potential; to believe in their abilities and work hard to achieve their goals. Communication between parents and staff is crucial. To support this we not only monitor the academic progress of our young people, but also their well-being whilst at school. At Prospect School we hope to make all our students feel that they have the ability and support needed to achieve more than they thought possible.
