T LEVEL TECHNICAL QUALIFICATION IN HEALTH AND SCIENCE: HEALTH/ADULT NURSING “Let us never consider ourselves finished, nurses. We must be learning all of our lives” Florence Nightingale Having a career with a steady financial future is certainly important, but it is just as important to have one that is personally rewarding as well; a career in nursing can provide both. Though the profession can be physically exhausting, nursing is intrinsically rewarding because it offers the opportunity to make decisions that will help people live longer and healthier lives. It is a caring profession which is rewarding and extremely satisfying and can make a definitive difference to people’s lives. Developing relationships with patients and seeing the impact that this professional can make to people’s daily lives, watching them go from strength to strength because of the work and commitment given, is gratifying and motivating. This T-Level has been developed in consultation with employers in the health and social care industry to ensure students learn the skills and behaviours to give the best opportunity to be successful when applying for work in areas of adult nursing.
