Lochinver House School Summer 2018 Brochure

This year we have decided to give the Summer Fete a festival feel. There’s lots on offer for all the family to enjoy - inflatables, Zorbs, Mad Science, a gaming tent, giant train track and a creative zone where you can put your slime making skills to the test, make friendship bands with your friends or enjoy dressing up in our Photo Booth! We’ve got music - this year from the school band - a Pimms and G&T tent and, amongst other tasty delights, a wonderful Mediterranean BBQ. Lochinver parents will be taking on the teachers in a tug of war contest - come and cheer us on as we battle it out on the music field! The Head Boys will be running the Stocks in aid of the Head Boys Charities. Drop by and have a go - it’s your chance to get back at the teachers! How good is your aim? We have received some incredibly generous raffle prizes this year which will be displayed in the central playground. Don’t worry if you haven’t bought your tickets yet - there will be tickets available on the day. Make sure you don’t miss out. That Hoverboard could be yours! If you miss out on this first prize, there are lots more amazing prizes to be won - from a Star Wars R2-D2 Droid to a Quadcopter Drone! Raffle winners will be announced at 4pm. Mr Walker will then announce the winner of the Sports Day Kit competition the PTA have been running throughout the Summer Term. This has generated lots of excitement in school and we can’t wait to announce the winners! Don’t miss this if you’ve entered. A heart felt thanks goes to everyone who has made today possible. The Summer Fete is an opportunity for the Lochinver Community, our neighbours and friends to come together and we look forward to welcoming you all. We’ve provided the entertainment, let’s hope we can now rely on the weather!
